Jack Straw Openers

#229417 1 year, 9 months ago
When Furthur opened with Straw at Sweetwater tonight (1/18), I posted that it is a proven fact that any show that opens with Jack Straw is going to be a smoker. I'd like to present my evidence, 2 shows from 1978 that are a couple of my all time favorites. These are just a couple that always stick out for me. The GD's 1st show at Red Rocks! If you have some favorite Straw openers post them here and let's see if my theory is correct

Yeah man I was there. Probably top 5 of the shows I attended. My all time favorite Bird Song with Santana joining in, I'll never forget that. Man we had some crazy times in Vegas.

Monster show here.
